Mary Lou Terrell

Ms. Mary Lou (Delk) Terrell of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky on, Saturday, November 16, 2024, having attained the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 22 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, August 25, 1949, the daughter of Oliver “Bud” & Pauline (Duvall) Delk. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Brown, brother, Kenneth Delk, and sister, Patsy Talbott.

She is survived by her children, Stacy Brown of Albany, Kentucky, Jennifer Heist of Danville, Kentucky, and Berry Rose of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Marvin Delk of Louisville, Kentucky, Eugene Delk of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Tony (&Virginia) Delk, Johnny Delk, Sue (& Bill) Pierce, Shirley Hickman, all of Albany, Kentucky, Cathy (& Steve) Barrie of Sacramento, California, Fonzie Dicken of Albany, Kentucky, Shelia (& Don) Abbott of Byrdstown Tennessee, Deborah (&Frankie) Smith of Albany, Kentucky, Rebecca (& John) Harrod of Louisville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Lisa Delk  of Albany Kentucky, grandchildren, Racheal (& John) Bow, Irvin (& Larrisa) Brown Jr., Chelsey Emmons, Jordan Brown, Harley Brown, Mary Kate Heist, Jacob Heist, and Sharon Heist, 10 great-grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Greg Wells and Johnny Delk officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. C.S.T., and again on Thursday, November 21, 2024, beginning at 6:00 a.m. C.S.T. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
