Bro. Herbert “Tots” Logsdon age 81 of Horse Cave passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a native of Grayson County and was the son of Wren and Eula Sego Logsdon.
Tots, as everyone knew him by, was a nickname given to him as a little boy and followed him throughout his life. Tots was a farmer, a member of the Cave Hill Baptist Church and an ordained Baptist preacher.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Royce Logsdon and Hershell Logsdon, an infant sister Dorene Logsdon and his brother-in-law Emmet Crain.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Lillian Cottrell Logsdon; His brother Herman Logsdon & his wife Kathy of Munfordville; his sister Loretta Crain of Horse Cave; Sisters-in-law Betty Logsdon of Munfordville & Diane Cottrell of Cecilia; Brother-in-law Don Cottrell & his wife Jacque of Elizabethtown and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Bro. Herbert “Tots” Logsdon will be 1pm Sunday, Nov. 15 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be Saturday from 2-8pm and will continue after 9am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home. Due to the state recommendations and the recent health concerns, everyone is asked to wear a face covering while inside the funeral home.
