Eddie Jones, 77, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. The Glasgow, KY native was a farmer, former employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, member of Fountain Run Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Chief for 10 years, member of Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church, member and former President of Fountain Run Men’s Club. He was a son of the late Sewell Sanford Jones and Jacqueline Downing Jones.
He is survived by his wife: Jane Pardue Jones, Ft. Run, KY; two sons: Nathan Edward Jones (Melissa) and Jeremy Patrick Jones (Megan), all of Ft. Run, KY; a brother: Gary Wayne Jones (Sheila), Scottsville, KY; five grandchildren: Clay Bishop Jones (Katie), Caroline Read Jones, Colt Patrick Jones, Reese Alamine Jones and Maggie Louise Jones.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 2: to 8 p.m. Friday and after 7 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
