Velma I. Neal Rush

Velma I. Neal Rush age 90 of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday morning at her home. Velma was born in Butler County to the late Earnest and Lucy Centers Neal. She is the widow of the late Kenneth D. Rush. She is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Velma retired from Holley Carb. After 42 years. She was a Methodist. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grand mother and sister. Velma was a strong Republican.

Velma is survived by her daughter, Patty Milam (Ronnie) of Rockfield. Granddaughters, Tracey Danks (Sud) of Auburn. and Stacey Milam Gravil of B.G., 4 great grandchildren, Linsey Long, Johnathan Long (Sydney), Matthew Long and Bryan Gravil. Two Great Great Grandchildren, Rhett Christy and Millie Long. Sisters, Ann Stahl (Jerry) and Mary Martin. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great, nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday and after 10:00 am Monday all at the J.C. Kirby and Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 12 noon Monday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern KY in loving memory of Velma.
