Dr. William Fredrick Maycock, age 83, passed away Friday December 6, 2024 at his residence in Bowling Green, KY.
The Cleveland, OH. native was the son of the late William Fredrick Maycock Sr. and Charolette MacLaren Maycock.
Dr. Maycock was a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. He was an Anesthesiologist, practicing in California and Virginia; after retirement he and his wife moved to Bowling Green where they were members of Hillvue Heights Church.
Dr Maycock is survived by his wife, Linda Smith Maycock, three daughters, Lisa Buren, Rene Simpson (Eric), and Laura Tellis, one sister, Betty Jean Harrington, two brothers, Wayne Maycock (Alma) and Robert C. Maycock (Sue), ten grandchildren, Andrew, Rebekah, Michaela, Zachary, and Anara Buren, Jack, Claire, and Laura Jane Simpson, and Phoebe and Chloe Tellis, six great grandchildren, Alice, Rowan, Gwendolyn and Ivy Buren, Declan and Clara Sauble and one on the way, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Monday December 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
