Elizabeth Irene Estes Boston, of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late John William Estes and Birdie Bagby Estes, was born on Saturday, January 15, 1944 in Mell Ridge, Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She was 80 years, 10 months, 22 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker. She loved to be with her children and talking on the phone.
She was united in marriage to Jackie Neal Boston on September 12, 1964, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2022.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: William Underwood of Greensburg, James Underwood of Campbellsville, Terry and Kay Boston of Knifley, Brian and Misty Boston of Danville; four daughters and sons-in-law: Elizabeth Thomas of Campbellsville, Sandi and Charles Greer of Columbia, Betsy Harris and her fiancé, Jeff Greer of Columbia, Maggie Chumbley of Greensburg; one sister: Nonie Burris of Greensburg; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a special fur baby: Gidget; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son: Chester Boston on July 2, 2022; an infant daughter: Birdie Beatrice Boston; and a grandson: Jonathan Boston.

The funeral services for Elizabeth Irene Estes Boston will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bowles Cemetery. Bro. Casey Durrett officiating.
Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Monday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
