Henry Thomas “ Goat” Byrd 76, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He started working at a young age at Strader’s Farm and Dairy and retired from Stockyard Farm and Dairy.
He is survived by his wife: Darleena Byrd; children: Clay Byrd (Carly), Michael Doyle and Melissa Wilson (Billy); twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; Fur Baby: Sponge Bob; one brother: Bobby Neal (Pat); one sister Kathy Compton (Sam); several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Annie Byrd; one brother: David Byrd; one sister Beverly Byrd; one grandson Carter Doyle.
Funeral will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 am Friday until time for services at the funeral home.
