Myrtle Charlyne Taylor, age 74, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on May 15, 1950, to the late Robert Lee Greene, and the late Mary Olia (Miller) Greene. Myrtle was a lover of music and spending time with her family.
Myrtle is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Reed Taylor; son, Kenny Taylor Jr.; daughters, Michelle Chapman, and Tammy Greene; grandchildren, Kori Hendricks, Ellah Chapman, Brandy Kirk and Amanda Basso; sister, Anna Taylor; great grandchildren, Braiden McCorry, Jaythen Willey, Guilanna McCorry, Xavier Kirk, and Ryshae Kirk; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Henrietta Green, Brenda Green, and Carolyn Lawrence; brother, Bobby Green.
The funeral service for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 19th at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
