Lesa Carol Herndon Moody age 57 of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, at her mother and step father’s home, surrounded by her loving family. Lesa was born in Lexington, KY to the late Charles Herndon and Carol Spicer Martin who survives. Lesa was a Registered Nurse who was a Certified Critical Care Nurse at the Medical Center of Bowling Green and an Infection Preventionist at Sky Rehab. She was a Methodist and loved her Lord and Savior. She was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and an Angel without wings to her patients and their families. Lesa has now gained her wings.
Lesa is survived by her husband of 17 years, Bryan Moody. Mother and Step father, Carol and Gary T. Martin. Best Friend (who was more like a sister) Denise Sanborn and her husband Bob. Her brother J.C. Martin and a niece Lauren N. Martin all of Bowling Green.
A Celebration of Lesa’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 21, with visitation from 4:00 pm until service time at 6:00 pm, and the Celebration of Life starting at 6:00 pm all at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Loving Memory of Lesa.
