Wanda Dean Talley, 76, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Wanda was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on April 13, 1948, to the late Stanley W. Houchens and the late Ersie M. Thomas Houchens. Wanda spent many years working at TJ Samson Community Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Mosier (John) of Glasgow and Jo Garmon (Jeff) of Glasgow; two step daughters, Sandra Gross (Jimmie) and Jamie Hiltner (Bill); three step sons, Charles Talley (Rhonda), Brian Talley, and Shawn Talley; eight grandchildren, Joshua Dilley, Brandon Riddle, Brooke Dilley, Craig Mosier (Destiney), Brianna Mosier, Brandi Richards (Kurt), Ryan Mosier (Keri), and Dustin Mosier (Addie); fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Houchens and Linda Wilson; husbands, Samuel Talley and Gerald Avery; two daughters, Marilyn Faye Anderson and Carolyn Kaye Anderson.
The funeral service for Ms. Talley will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 30th at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
