JoAnn Meredith age 94 of Hardyville departed to her Heavenly home on December 27th surrounded by her loved ones. Although known by many titles, one thing that was sure, was how much she was loved by all.
Born on November 25th, 1930 to the late George Marvin “Tad” and Mary Lettie Dorsey Logsdon, growing up was always an adventure. JoAnn became a child of God at Cub Run Baptist Church. From singing in church as a child to walking barefoot to school, love and laughter was always abundant in her home.
In addition to her parents, JoAnn is reunited with her husband of 52 years, James Robert Meredith, a daughter Connie Lawson, 9 siblings, 11 half siblings, a son-in-law Leon Jenkins, a grandson William Phillip Lawson, a grandson-in-law Brad Bailey, and a precious great-granddaughter Carsyn Drew Tucker.
A life full of gardening, canning, keeping a clean home and cooking three big meals daily, JoAnn’s heart was most full when her family was gathered together. A caregiver to all, was who she was. “Strength and honor are her clothing, she is confident about her future.” – Proverbs 31:25

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Father of Compassion and the God of all comforts who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
JoAnn’s family is thankful for the many years the Lord blessed them with her and knows He is the giver of comfort.
