Jacqueline “Jackie” McGinnis Hudson of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Aubrey Euphrates McGinnis, Sr. and Leland Frances Blevins McGinnis, was born on Monday, December 31, 1928 in Michigan. She was 95 years, 11 months, and 7 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired after 37 years as a folding inspector for Fruit of the Loom, Inc, but her greatest job, that brought her the most joy, was caring for her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Mary Colleen Hudson Moran and Ronnie Moran of Greensburg; her granddaughter: Anissa “Buffy” Scantland and husband, Jay of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren: Jai Cassidy Decker and husband, Evan, Cain Hudson Scantland and wife, Beth, and Caden Lane Scantland all of Greensburg; two great-great grandchildren: Tripp Hudson Decker and Evie Tress Decker both of Greensburg; nieces and nephews: Fran Sprow of Campbellsville, Cathy Vickers Armstrong, Patricia Vickers Herbener both of Louisville, Melissa McGinnis Metcalf of Bardstown, Lloyd Curry, Timmy Curry both of Greensburg, Terry McGinnis and Gary McGinnis both of Bardstown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Hudson was also preceded in death by a brother and three sisters: Aubrey E. McGinnis, Jr., Virginia Vickers, Catherine Curry, and Caroline Larkin “Larkie” Hudgins.

Graveside services for Jackie McGinnis Hudson will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Brenson Bishop officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the service arrangements.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Green County Public Library Fund and can be made at the funeral home.
