Glasgow High students win awards at state DECA

Glasgow High School students received several awards and recognitions at their recent DECA state convention in Louisville.

Yoselyn Abad and Alivia Glover captured first place in Marketing Management, while Evan Templin, Sid Patel and Kasan Peters took fifth place in Start-Up Business Plan.

Jackson Barrick was selected as Region 2 vice president of Membership, and Kasan Peters was named Region 2 vice president of Finance.

Ian Parocai placed seventh in Principles of Finance and the following Glasgow students took eighth place in their respective categories: Ayesha Ashfaq, Business Finance; Danica Stephens, Food Marketing; Gracie Lei-Sam, Business Service Marketing; and Josue Camarena-Solis, Accounting Applications.
