Ms. Chloteal L. Crowe

Ms. Chloteal L. Crowe, age 83, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow. Chloteal was born in Tompkinsville on October 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Ferrell D. and Genoa (Wood) Gammon. She was a 1959 graduate of Lindsay High School in California. She was a faithful member of Germany Church of Christ and retired from Belden after nearly twenty-five years. Chloteal loved to travel, enjoyed doing her word search puzzles and reading. She was kind hearted, and as courteous as they came. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Brett Crowe and wife Tina Turner Crowe, of Tompkinsville, Lisa Farris and husband Jim, of Lexington, and Pat Crowe and wife Lee Ann of Glasgow, Five grandchildren, Lindsay Birge and husband Matt, Kaleb Crowe and companion Hannah Harlan, Morgan Crowe, Garrett Crowe and wife MaKenna, and Anna Farris. Five great-grandchildren, Levi, Rory Kate, Coraline Birge, Kyson and Palmer Crowe also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa’s twin sister, Laura Faye Crowe.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Harlan’s Crossroads Cemetery. Tim McHenry will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and again on Thursday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harlan’s Crossroads Cemetery in memory of Chloteal.
