Teresa Ann (Cross) Groce of Albany, Kentucky, passed away at the Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky on Saturday, March 15, 2025, having attained the age of 54 years, 6 months, and 14 days. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Wednesday, September 2, 1970, the daughter of James Howard & Peggy Lee (Jones) Cross. Teresa was of the Christian faith and loved spending time with her children & grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Cross.
She is survived by her parents, James Howard & Peggy Lee (Jones) Cross, husband, Jackie Ernest Groce, whom she wed on April 12, 1986, children, Jamie (& Richard) York, Ernest Groce (& Amelia Bennett), siblings, Frances (& Frankie) Key, Tracie (& Jeff) Perdue, grandchildren, Gavin York, Logan York, Caylee Groce, Xavier Bennett, Audree Groce, Ernest Groce, Rachel Groce, and several nieces, nephews, family and many friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. C.S.T. until 9:00 p.m., and again on Friday morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. C.S.T until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
