Margie Rone Self

Margie Rone Self, 94, of Brownsville, formerly of Roundhill, passed away March 18, 2025 at Edmonson Center.

The Butler County native was a homemaker, a former employee of Kane Manufacturing in Morgantown and a member of Mt. Lebanon Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Eathel D. Rone and Bessie Raymer Rone. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Rone and Arlen Rone; two sisters, Delma Cline and Carmel Rone; a niece, Joyce Cline; a nephew, Tommy Rone; a great niece, April Cline; and a great nephew, James Robert Rone.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday.

Surviving are a son, Tracy M. Self (Maryellen) of Alvaton; a daughter, Maedena Self Stewart (David) of Smiths Grove; four grandchildren, Rocky W. Tyree Jr., Heather N. James, Amanda C. Cannon (Tyler) and Kari E. McConnell; five great grandchildren, Jonas I. Miller, Emersyn Covington, Noah T. Cannon, Lilly J. Tyree and Caroline J. Cannon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
