Mr. Mark Brown

Mr. Mark Brown, age 63, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. Mark was born in Tompkinsville on June 3, 1961, a son of the late Clurie E. and Ruby Martin (Taylor) Brown. Mark was a sports fanatic, and could name every state team, and had a personality that could light up the room. He was a faithful member of Berea Church of Christ.

Mark is survived by one sister, Joyce McIntyre and husband Gerald of Sellersburg, Indiana, and three brothers, Jackie Brown and wife Jane, Ronnie Brown and wife Joni, and Larry Brown and wife Shirley, all of Tompkinsville. Ten nieces and nephews; Derrick and Melissa McIntyre, Trevor and Martin Brown, Shelly Scott, Ryan and Ethan Brown, Greg and Jeremy Brown, and Kari Langford. Three aunts, Gerene Garmon, Edith, and Beatrice McPherson along with a host of great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. John Osgatharp will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning after 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berea Church of Christ in memory of Mark.

Pallbearers: Ethan Brown, Ryan Brown, Martin Brown, Trevor Brown, Troy Langford, Nolan Langford, Derrick McIntyre, and Lucas McIntyre.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Proffitt, Berea Church of Christ Members, Carrie Jo Hunter, Briley Dubree, Carolyn Pickerell, and Gary Pennington
