Deloris Taylor Logsdon

Deloris Taylor Logsdon, 89 of Glasgow formerly of Cub Run, passed away Friday afternoon at Hospice of
Southern KY in Bowling Green. She was born in Cub Run to the late Thomas and Joann Puckett Taylor.
Deloris married Roy on January 22, 1948 and they were married 64 years when he passed away in November of 2012. She was saved at the Cub Run Baptist Church and later joined the Cub Run Methodist Church and she also taught Sunday School.
She liked to crochet, quilt, watch the birds and work in her flowers. She went to the smokey mountains every year until her health failed and she was no longer able to go.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Edwin, Howard, Homer, Victor & David Taylor and Evelyn Gibbons, Mildred Huff and her twin as an infant Doris Taylor

Deloris is survived by two daughters-
Kathy Byrd and her husband Gary of Glasgow
Brenda Trent and her husband Leslie of Glasgow
Two grandchildren Karen Childress & Roy Dale Childress
Two great-grandchildren Aaron Arnold & Bentley Blanton
One brother-Gary Taylor and his wife Omega of Mammoth Cave
Three sisters-Edna Logsdon of Brownsville
Nannie Bell Logsdon of Elizabethtown
Barbara Lee of Hodgenville
Sister-in-law & brother-in-law Mayme & Don Skaggs and Patty & Leon Thompson
Special friends Katlynn Mosby, Becky Baise & Peggy Abernathy and her caregivers while she was at NHC Heather Rock & Aubrey Turner

Funeral services for Deloris Taylor Logsdon will be 11am Monday, July 20 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Gaddie officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Family Cemetery at Center Point. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8pm and after 8am Monday at the Sego Funeral Home with limited seating capacity.
In accordance with the Governor’s mandates, friends and family will need to wear a face covering while visiting.
No food is allowed at the funeral home at this time while our lounge remains closed.
