Carmela Ann Meredith, age 93, of Mooresville, NC departed this life and joined the Lord and her loving husband on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was born on April 28, 1926 in Haverstraw, NY to the late James and Rose DeGilio Cusano. She was happily married for 58 years to the late Benjamin F. Meredith, Sr. of Brownsville, KY.
She leaves to honor her memory– one son, Benjamin F. Meredith, Jr. of Mooresville, NC; one granddaughter, Nia-Marie Meredith and one great-grandson, Clay “C.J. Selland of Charlotte, NC.
Carmela’s greatest love was her family. Her dream was to get married and have a family to care for. She was more than happy to live her life caring for her husband, son, granddaughter and then her great-grandson. She lived her life to be sure that her family was cared for, and as long as they were happy, she was happy.
Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that Ben and Carmella are together again and at peace in Heaven.
Interment will be in Ollie Cemetery.
