Allie M. Davis

Allie M. Davis, age 83, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his residence.  The son of the late Gilliam Davis and the late Ethel (Richey) Davis, he was born in Cedar Grove on September 27, 1936. He was a farmer and a retired truck driver for the state highway department.  Mr. Davis loved fishing and was a member of the Caney Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Davis of Glasgow; one grandson, Jacob Davis (Tara) of Glasgow; three great grandchildren, Madison, Rylee and Hunter Davis; one brother, William Davis of Glasgow; one sister in law, Runell Davis of Glasgow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Lee (McCue) Davis; two sons, John Milford Davis and Timothy Clay Davis; three brothers, Owen Davis, John Davis and Joe Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 16th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Caney Fork Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday morning until time for services at the funeral home.

 

All those who wish to honor and remember Mr. Davis in person at the visitation or service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing while inside the funeral home for the safety of those in attendance.
