GLASGOW POLICE ARREST GLASGOW MAN MONDAY ON DRUG POSSESSION

According to the Glasgow Police Department, a Monday traffic stop on South Morgan Street led to a drug arrest.

Officer Andrew Moore made contact with Jimmy Tucker and confirmed he had a suspended driver license. Officer John Warnock deployed K-9 Joe who alerted officers to something in the vehicle. Officers located marijuana and a .22 revolver handgun inside the vehicle, according to a news release.

Jimmy Tucker, Glasgow, was arrested and charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license; failure to produce an insurance card; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; and possession of marijuana.

Officer Andrew Moore made the arrest, assisted by Sgt. Jessie Barton, Officer John Warnock and K-9 Joe.
