The Glasgow Police Department says it made an arrest after officers investigated a vehicle parked at the Happy Valley Inn last Friday.
According to a news release, officers located the vehicle owner in a room. Police searched the owner Charles Clay and located methamphetamine in his right sock. Police searched the room and located marijuana and drug paraphernalia. According to police, Clay fled on foot a short distance before being apprehended.
Clay, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine); possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; first degree wanton endangerment (police officer); first degree fleeing or evading police (on foot); and tampering with physical evidence.
