The Barren County Grand Jury returned no true bill yesterday against Glasgow Police Officer Joey Judd.
On March 24th, Glasgow Police released a statement about Officer Judd and stated he had been suspended with pay.
KSP had notified GPD that they were called to investigate a complaint involving Officer Judd. While off-duty, Judd and the juvenile son of his fiancé become involved in what was described as a ‘domestic situation’. The juvenile was injured and taken to TJ Samson where he was released after treatment.
Officer Judd has remained on paid suspension since the 24th, pending the results of the state police investigation. Yesterday the grand jury heard testimony in regard to the what happened during the ‘domestic situation’, and did not feel they had enough evidence to formally charge Judd with any crime related to the events.
State Police are expected to release a formal comment sometime today.
