LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — People who want to know more about Kentucky legal and judicial systems can attend a session this week in Louisville.
The Kentucky Judicial Branch and the Jefferson County Racial Fairness Commission are hosting Court Talks on Thursday at Spalding University Center.
The Administrative Office of the Courts said the event is intended to educate the public about the different departments and agencies that are involved in the legal and judicial systems. The public will also be able to provide feedback about their interactions with the agencies and ask questions.
Researchers from the University of Louisville will hold focus groups to learn more about the community’s needs and concerns. People who interact with the Jefferson County judicial and legal systems can participate in an online survey before the event.
